Paraplanner (Previous experience required)

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced paraplanner to join our team!

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial planning principles and practices, as well as experience with financial planning software.

They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Business Management or related
  • At least 2 years of Australian Paraplanning experience
  • Experience in Australian Financial Planning
  • Experience with XPlan software
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google Apps
  • Ability to adapt to new tools and software
  • Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
  • High attention to detail
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented
  • Superior organisational skills
  • Ability to work within deadlines
  • Great time management skills
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality and discretion
  • RG146 Certification is desired but not required

Responsibilities

  • Fact find input into Financial Planning software.
  • Completion of modeling in financial planning software of various strategies.
  • Consider the strategies within the confines of legislation to ensure they are allowable and whether the Adviser has missed any opportunities.
  • Creation of a Statement of Advice (SoA) document in line with the specifications of the Licensee and Adviser.
  • Provide feedback to Advisers about any missing compliance documents/ wording that they need to complete in order to have a complete, compliant, client file.
  • Collaborate with a wider team, throughout our network of offices, to deliver integrated and exceptional client service
