WEB DEVELOPER (DESIGN-INTEGRATED)
We are seeking a technically skilled and design-oriented Web Developer to join our offshore team. This role is responsible for the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of multiple websites across various brands and publications.
You will work closely with the Creative Director and design team, ensuring high-quality execution of visually driven digital experiences. This position requires strong technical ownership combined with a keen eye for design and user experience.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in WordPress development
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks
- Experience with animation tools (e.g., GSAP, CSS animations, Lottie)
- Solid understanding of UX principles, layout, typography, and design systems
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for asset handling and interpretation
- Experience with hosting environments, deployment processes, and performance optimization
- Familiarity with EDM platforms and digital campaign integration
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with remote and onshore teams
- Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Experience working in offshore or distributed teams is an advantage
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, update, and troubleshoot internal websites
- Build and manage WordPress websites based on design files (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Write clean, scalable, and responsive front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Integrate animations, video, APIs, and dynamic functionality
- Ensure all websites are high-performing, secure, responsive, and aligned with modern web standards
- Identify and resolve bugs, plugin issues, and hosting or deployment challenges
- Collaborate closely with designers to ensure accurate and high-quality visual implementation
- Support EDM development and integration (e.g., Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor)
- Optimize digital assets for performance and cross-platform consistency
- Contribute to documentation and shared workflows across remote teams
- Work within project management tools (e.g., monday.com, Jira, SharePoint, Dropbox)
- Assist in improving systems and processes, including automation and AI integration
- Manage timelines, priorities, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects
